You'll get a feed URL and a private edit link.

What subscribing actually does

A subscription isn't a one-time import: your calendar app re-fetches the feed URL on its own schedule — usually every few hours — so your edits show up everywhere without you resending anything.
There are no accounts here. The edit link you get is the only key to a calendar, and the feed URL is the only way to reach it. Keep both somewhere you'll find them.
Already made one? Open the edit link you saved — it goes straight back to your text.
Calendars are stored as plain text, reachable only by their secret URLs; delete any time via the edit link.
